  Second time I placed my order over the phone to go pick it up and had to wait. The first time, the woman at the counter explained that she has had issues with people ordering meals with gravy on top and not picking up their meals. It made sense so, I gave her a pass even though my order was for soup(soup can be poured back in the pot if not picked up). I also explained that I will always order my food in advance since I am ALWAYS rushing to go from one job to the next (not by choice but just how it is). She understood and said ok, as if she would keep that in mind the next time I ordered. Today, I called again and ordered a large soup. Although my order was taken and the time of my arrival for pick up was specified, I arrived to find that the order was never made. I am not an impatient person, and as crazy as it may sound, I am simply a person that has to plan out every second of my day as every second lost is costly in so many different ways for me. I have dealt with many other Caribbean restaurants that have told me the same thing about pre-orders and I have offered to pay for the order over the phone to to avoid lines and any thought of an order being placed by phone and not being picked up but, she did not require that. Normally, it would take one screw up with me to end my dealing with a company. I gave this woman two. The first time, Although she explained her reason for not making the order, she did not extend an apology. Neither did she today after failing to have my soup order ready 20 minutes after I had placed the and arrived for pick-up. After this second time, this place should easily receive no stars for the lack of courtesy, slowness and unapologetic attitude portrayed by the woman at the counter but, I gave them a 2 . I've decided to NEVER order from this place in the future. I am now back to searching for another Caribbean restaurant. Additionally, a word of advice to the woman at the counter, Heavily painted nails, heavy make-up, excessive jewelry and no hairnet ( she had one on today but never saw one on her during the previous visits) can cause people to pass judgment on the cleanliness of your establishment. Although some people don't care to look at things like that when dealing with a restaurant but, there are many of us that consider that an issue . Also, in business, remember that it is not you that does a favor for a customer, it is the customer that does you a favor by choosing to spend money at your establishment so, be courteous and apologetic when you drop the ball!

  Ordered via phone... pickup the food, nice service. but the curry goat was so soupy full of bones and not enough meat. I would go again for something else thou.
